Along with the standard administrator and user system logins, ClockOn also provides some additional employee self-service functionality. These Employee Self-Service (ESS) features can be accessed through either our ClockOn GO app or from the Employee website login.
This guide will focus on how you can set the options for and invite employees to be able to access these features.
Enabling Employee Self-Service Access
Before employees can use the portal, they need to be granted access to it by a system user. This is done from the Employees > Special Options tab
In the Employee Services section, you can selectively set the options that you wish to grant to the employee. Once the relevant options are enabled, click Save to confirm the selection.
The next step is to invite the employee to create a password for the system. This is done using the Invite Employee button. This will send them an email to complete the process.
Invites only need to be sent once, once the employee has an account their options access can be set and changed using the screen selections.
The employee will be contacted on the email address linked to their employee profile and asked to create a password. Once this has been completed you will receive an additional email to advise.
You can set specific access to features and functionality at a system level by using the Employee Access feature. The access level for the employee is defined on this screen with the Employee Access dropdown.
